Fishing Villages – Take a trip around one of the small fishing villages that can be found across Koh Chang.  Fishing is the way of life amongst many communities here and you can witness a traditional Thai way of life that differs to some of the bigger resorts and cities of Thailand. Whilst here, sample some of the delectable seafood fresh from the catch.

Waterfalls – Koh Chang is home to much in the way of beautiful scenery. The island features several waterfalls which make for a beautiful photograph opportunity.  The popular waterfalls are Klong Plu and Thanmayom and are easily accessible from nearby beaches.

Shrine of the Godfather – In the north of the Island you will find the shrine dedicated to Chao Po Koh Chang – the Godfather of Koh Chang.  Chinese in design, the shrine is guarded by the statues of two large elephants and is popular feature of Thai folklore, having answered the wishes and prayers of those who have asked.

Beaches – If you’re looking for a beach holiday, then Koh Chang will not disappoint.  Several paradisiacal stretches of golden sands, palm trees and blue waters await. Find stunning beaches aligned with bars and restaurants or secluded areas where you can feel like you’re in your own desert island paradise.

Firefly Tour – Around the tropical mangroves and trees that edge the Koh Chang coastline a host of brightly coloured fireflies gather during the cooler months. Take a night boat tour past this amazing site and watch as thousands of little green lights flutter through the trees.
