Angkor Wat Temples – A vast and inspirational complex of temples dating back to the Khmer kingdom of around 900AD, the Angkor temples remain a wonder of the Oriental world. Spread over 400 sqkm, these ornate structures are a must see for any tourist visiting Siem Reap.

Kbal Spean – An archaeological site located deep within the jungle at the foot of the Kulen Hills, Kbal Spean, otherwise known as ‘The River of the Thousand Lingas’ is a series of carvings and sculptures set in the river bed and along its banks.

Beng Melea – Visit the ruins of Beng Melea.  A large 12th century hinduist temple decorated in ornate carvings.  From the same period as the Angkor ruins, Beng Melea remains largely unrestored.  A must see attraction.

Preah Vihear Temple – Another of Siem Reap’s historic temples is Preah Vihear.  Located on a 525 metre clifftop offering beautiful views, this Hindu temple was built during the reign of the Khmer Empire.

Tonlé Sap Lake – Regarded as Southeast Asia’s largest freshwater lake, Tonle Sap is a combination of a river and lake.  During monsoon season, the river changes the direction of it’s flow, creating the great lake.
